It keeps you dry in light rain, it's wind-resistant, and insulated with 3M Thinsulate against the cold. The nylon is lighter and stronger than traditional duck, so you never feel weighed down.

The Super Dux™ collection is named after our first line of hunting gear, released in the 1930s. It's made with nylon that's lightweight and strong, making it comfortable for active days. The reduced weight feels great while hiking, fishing, or just walking around. It also fights off wind, light rain, and cold, so you enjoy the outdoors to the fullest.
It is very warm, withstands the cold of autumn in Patagonia Argentina... we'll see how we do in the winter.
The only thing I didn't like is that the pockets are not warm.

Great work coat
Nice and super warm. Fits well without being bulky. Easy to move and work in while feeding horses. Only issue is the hood gives me tunnel vision due to it being so deep. It's like looking out of a tube!! I'd give it 4.5 stars.

I wish this jacket/coat came in sizes larger than 2 xl for plus size women. Attempted to buy the two xl not made for layering and felt size ran small.
