Roomy, stretchy, perfect fit and function. I'm 5"8, 180lbs, and the 16 tall couldn't be more comfortable. I was torn between a 14 and 16 and think a 14 would also fit well but I like my clothes a bit loose. I'm a firefighter and have struggled for years to find work pants that hold up, feel good, and look good. If you're a woman in fire/EMS you know how frustrating it is that no one makes pants for us like they do for men. Now I'll never have to buy men's pants or ill-fitting 5.11s again. Thank you so much Carhartt for making a decent women's pant.

Size and Fit
The gray pair I got fit perfectly fine, the black and dark blue pair seem to be bigger in fit size. Overall, I like the pants themselves. They're rugged, they're thick, but not too thick and comfortable..

Every day favorite pants
I LOVE these pants. To find them in plus size and TALL was a miracle. They are now my FAVORITE pants. A girl cant have enough pockets. Can't wait to be able to order more too have enough to wear everyday of the week.

POCKETS!!!
REAL POCKETS!!! Sorry...this is exciting to me, since typically womens pants pockets are... not usable. I can fit my phone, keys, and other useful items in front pockets with no worries of things falling out.
Great fit. Plenty of movement. All day comfort at work and play.
I have owned for about a month. Worn about 4 times...hard to say how they will stand the test of time. But I have had a pair of quilted Carharts for about 10 years. While they only get worn a handful of time a year, (winter only) they have been put through the ringer and still my go-to for when it's really cold.
I e pect these will last me longer than other women's work pants I've tried over the years.
I dont know when Carhart started making womens work pants, obviously not paying attention, probably been years. I feel I've been missing out. Well done Carhart!
