Used to be Great
I bought these a few years back and fell in love with them. I was so excited to get my new pair after 3 years with my last ones, until I tried them on and realized the design changed significantly. No more hammer loop, useless side pockets, and much much baggier than before. Seemingly all women's gear from Carhartt has been changed in the last couple years to less flattering and less practical designs for working in. These are fine jeans if you haven't worn the previous designs, but will have to be returned since the sizing no longer fits me. As a gardener, these jeans served me well and I'll miss what Carhartt used to offer women before all the changes.

Miss the good ol' days, but these are a good replacement
True to size, I usually wear a size 2 at 5'7" and 135lbs, slim hips but thick thighs. The size 2 fits snugly but in a good way, not too loose or tight anywhere. These are pretty stretchy but also thick, which is really nice for field work. I get compliments on them all the time. I've had these for a couple months now and they've held up well to medium duty use, I will buy more pairs if they don't change them. I'm seriously disappointed that Carhartt no longer offers the duck canvas or Crawford double front/knee pants for women anymore, they were the best for working in, stiff off the bat but broke in well, but I guess they had to cater to folks who want to wear Carhartt for fashion over function these days.

Sturdy and well made
Sturdy and well made. They fit well (I'm 120 pounds, 5'5") - size 6 fits me perfectly. I work a lot in the yard; I find that these jeans stand up to a lot of hard use.

Excellent quality, however, not as thick as I thought it would be.

Weird fit and tall is not tall anymore
I usually buy the canvas double front but since those are now made with very thin material I thought I'd try the jeans as per reviews. First of all a tall inseam is no longer tall. Tall should start at 33" (I'm 5'10"). Second what is with the tapered leg? Just awful and makes them tight around the knee and calf. Plus they're weirdly baggy around the hips. The waist is the only fit that seams correct. Bring back the old proper fits with the thick double front canvas pants. Not impressed.

They fit in the waist but are way too big everywhere else. I'd like to exchange them for straight fit jeans because I know they fit me.

Best jeans that I ever bought!
Bought these for work at the Brewery. I bought 2 pairs initially, but after I tried them on and loved the fit I went and bought a 3rd pair. I love the double front, all the pockets are a plus. I wish they made a women's Jean with cargo pockets as well. They wash well, no shrinkage so far. They need to make these available in different washes as well. These are my new favorite jeans..on or off work. They fit me like a glove.

Pants review
I do like my pants. I have two criticisms however. First , I wish they were higher waisted. Secondly, men's pants have deeper front pockets, which I really like. That being said, it feels good to wear a pair of pants that fit me properly.
Also, I would really like it if you would bring back the duck canvas pants.
Thank you for asking.

Size Down
Size 6 was a poor fit for me, they stretch A LOT. Too baggy especially around the waist and front pockets. 5'3 ~135lbs
