V01 Relaxed Fit Firm Duck Insulated Rib Collar Vest

I wear a lot of Carharrt clothing, have always fit a Large well. T-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and coats are all large. This vest though is more than “relaxed”, the large is enormous. Too wide across the shoulders, so much extra room around the chest I would only recommend a Large if you are very ample in proportion.. I remember once getting thrown overboard on boat when wearing a life jacket that was too big, when I hit the water the life jacket floated higher up around my head. Putting on this vest brought those memories flooding back. I immediately returned it. Quality of material is great though!

Typical Carhartt quality. The fit is not. I have a 2xl jacket that is huge on me. Figuring this says its a relaxed fit and i wear Carhartt xl tshirts i ordered an xl. This is very snug. I get that it will break in but size consistency would be nice. Lucky i usually only where over my shirt. Wearing over a sweatshirt would be impossible.

Fits snugly and works as intended.
