How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hip/Seat:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

Needs side pockets
These fit and look great, but why they don't put utility pockets on the legs is beyond me. They really need it and this would get a five star review. Put the pockets on the sides already !

Good for the Shop Floor and smart enough for meeting clients - W34 L36 Black
Got these for work, I'm an engineer so I wanted something that won't get destroyed when working on the shop floor but also looks good enough to wear when talking to clients. I sized up as recommended from W34 to W36 and they fit perfectly. I needed a long leg as I'm a tall guy which is the biggest reason I went for Carhartt as they stocked trousers with my waist and length that were durable. Durability is BIG factor for me. Since I struggle to find fitting trousers as is, finding some that will last is a huge help. The overall fit is great, not like some trousers in tall fits which don’t really shape well and just hang awkwardly out of place. I have fairly thick thighs and the leg is a great fit, because of this it is slightly less loose at the rear than the rest of the trouser but this is nothing uncomplimentary or discomforting to the fit. I’d imagine the tough fabric will help prevent these trousers from becoming misshaped overtime but I’ll have to wait and see. I'll definitely be considering a couple more pairs in different colours too, as well as some jeans for home. I'd definitely recommend.
