Good for what it is. Fabric weight is too light for outdoor use in the winter, more suited to indoor or working in a sheltered location. Robust, without being unnecessarily so, needs another belt loop, legs too long for the size stated.

These pants are a great fit and have a great feel to them. They are a good length, and the waist is sized correctly. The left leg utility pocket is a little tight.

This was my choice of trouser for leisure from the current range. I have some bn 2802 “relaxed fit canvas, double front utility work pant” (you might want to consider some shorter names guys) and I adore these trousers, super soft, nice chaps detailing/double front, ace fit, I never take them off..why oh why are these only available in the u.s. now?? I’ve repaired mine, I will say this is something I’ve discovered is good re cotton front double fronts, when they wear you can stitch the front to back (clearly knee pads no longer an option then) and prolong the life..otherwise ..I struggle to see the point, I wish they’d make the front in cordura and back pure cotton and I’d use for work, leisure ..everything! With the 2802 unavailable this is the next best thing for me, the fit seems identical (there are no other trousers that fit like this), I don’t like the material as much aesthetically and for a single front the price seems high but I need something! Choice of colour is very limited too.the waist I warn you is very snug, I am typically 28” max, I can get down to 26/27” but these feel like 28” initially not a 30 as stated in my experience. The fit is perfect, comfortably loose but not flappy/baggy, perfect (and I’m quite slight) it looks ok with bulky jackets or just a t.shirt. And creases up over time to look even better, side pockets handy, not enough for work I don’t find but great for everyday.
