Not as advertised but good.
I brought this as a winter coat for my husband however, it is not blanket lined as advertised. We did try customer service by the online service but there was not feedback. Having said that, it is a smart well made coat that can be worn now the weather is improving.

Please bring back the Original C02PTL MADE IN USA firm duck insulated version
Good evening. I found this jacket in a retail store but decided not to purchase it after feeling the lightweight outer shell with no insulation and not made in America. I work in the trades as an electrician (32 years) and formerly owned the Discontinued Chore Coat Model CO2PTL which lasted 15 years. I would gladly pay more if you brought back the original CO2PTL MADE IN USA version, 12 oz 100% firm duck cotton shell and insulated lining. The original version looks better than this model which was re-designed. I'm up here in the northern hemisphere and need the insulation. I have many friends in the trades and they are steering their dollars away from Carhartt because of changes like this. Please relay this message to management and bring back the original which was a staple out here in the real world of building trades. I'm now looking at other brands which I did not want because I like supporting good American jobs in Kentucky. Please hear our voice "The Tradesmen and Women" building the country.
