It's loose. It's very comfortable, but so heavy I consider it a light jacket! Exactly what the description said. And built to last. My new favorite.

My new favorite flannel.

Gave a 5/5 because, the overall product is most excellent. Love that the pockets and pocket flaps match the direction of the plaid as if the pockets and flaps are invisible. The shirt is most definitely a heavy and warm flannel shirt. Surely this flannel shirt will last a very long time. Negative comment is: the designers made sure the pockets and flaps blended beautifully but then left the points of the collar end up willy-nilly. After laundering I suppose the collar could be shaped but I'd prefer the collar would have a button, at least at the points in front to keep the collar points in place but the reason I sent the shirt back is: it's 100% cotton which is great, however, no reviews yet about shrinkage. Label did not specify if the cotton was preshrunk. My fear is after washing in even cold water and hanging to dry, if there'd be any shrinkage then I end up with an unwearable, unreturnable expensive wonderful flannel shirt. Other than my reasons, I'm sure this will be a fabulous flannel shirt that will last for a very long time for most. Maybe I'll try again next year.
