Good rain gear
Works well for stopping wind and rain. Size up to layer as it's not warm with out doing so.

tried it in the bathroom shower...passed inspection!
I bought this rain jacket a few weeks ago and have only used it around town for one light rain. After reading some reviews here that say it doesn't provide full waterproof protection, i decided to put it to the test today to see if i should consider returning it. i got naked, put the jacket on and stepped into the shower at home. i spent a few minutes standing in place while slowly turning in circles. i turned the shower off and towel dried the outside of the jacket before taking it off. after taking it off, it did not appear to be wet inside the jacket. there was no wetness on my skin, but i felt a bit "clammy"...but i attribute that to the humidity in the shower and the vinyl jacket being in contact with my bare skin. i don't know if this is good for riding my motorcycle in the rain for a long time, but it seems to be ok for the basics of what i need. the finish of the outside material has a slight shiny look, which i don't care much for, but so far i am glad i bought this. i haven't used it enough to determine
durability.

If being dry is your goal, look for another option
Light and comfortable to wear when the sun shines, once it starts raining prepare to be wet. Seems like a high quality jacket but wetness soaks thru and leaves me soak. Wanted to like this as I need a good rain jacket, unfortunately this one was not up to the task.

Way better quality than Columbia!!! This rain jacket is meant to be in the rain. It doesn't absorb the water like most rain jackets after being in the rain for thirty minutes. Solid piece of equipment for my daily job. The only regret is I didn't buy this jacket sooner!
