Carhartt has made an overall great insulated vest. It has plenty of pockets. It is thin and can be worn under anything. My only gripe is that it's a little short. I am 6'3" and it barely covers my belt. Not a problem, as I wear it under blazers, and it looks fine. But one more inch of torso coverage would have been perfect. It has more pockets than most other vests in its class (think Patagonia or Eddie Bauer). That's a big plus.

Great fit and serves the exact purpose purchased for keeps the chest area warm and fits perfectly over my sweaters the size and material are spot on. Overall has further amplified my interest in Carhartt products.
