The pencil holder is not the same its to small. It was sold as product A09 if the design changes then its not the same product. You should say that in product description. I'm not happy with the product. It won't hold my pen and pencil. Its either or.

Bad design!
For whatever reasons, Carhartt as decided change a few things. They have made the pencil pockets in the middle of the pouches so small you can barely fit a pencil. Let alone a pencil, and maybe a marker. For any tradesmen that has use this pouch in the past, like me for decades. DO NOT REPURCHASE !!!

Stop going to garbage
I'll give it a 2 star. Use to be a 5star but the new version is garbage compared to the old one. Carhartt continuing to ruin their own brand

The old design was perfect, the new middle pockets are too narrow and deep. I've been wearing this apron for a decade now and I can't even use the new design.

Poor design / quality
Quality is poor, center pockets too small for a pen or pencil, belt is no longer cotton, and now nylon that keeps slipping on the buckle, requiring constant adjustment.

Redesign got it wrong
Ruined design by making center pouch obsolete. It's pointless. Carhartt is made for working men and women. I can't even holster a tape measure anymore with this POS. It's so small that all that can really fit is a pencil

I'm unhappy with the new style. Before , the center pocket was about an inch wide so u can hang your tape measure or put a few drill bits or a couple apexes.. now it only fits one pencil. Go pack to the old style . Thanks .

Come materiale è eccezionale, l’unica pecca è che usandolo al locale rimane un po’ corto.

Could be good. But isn't.
This apron is like a faint glimpse of what I could have. I like that it's small and lightweight, and I sewed the pockets vertically so my tools wouldn't get wedged in sideways. Design is perfect for an electrical apprentice doing commercial work and running around. BUT. I do feel like the small size is made more cheaply than the larger sizes. A coworker has the brown duck in a large size and his center pockets are actually functional. I can't even fit a carpenters pencil in mine. Barely big enough for a pencil reamer. The webbed belt is very thin, and is not even sewn or secured the full height of where it overlaps with the pouch, so it rolls up underneath the rivets and has begun to rip. The hammer loops are so tight and flimsy it's near impossible to actually get a hammer in and out. The canvas is also a much lighter weight than my coworker's. I can't find a comparable design I like, so might have to get on ebay to find an older version of this. Feels like they cut corners at every possible opportunity to make a profit.
