An update to our most popular Active Jac, the J130, this women's jacket was designed using feedback from our Carhartt Crew. Every detail, from the hood draw-cords with cord locks,to the updated zipper design for smoother use and added durability, was feedback from the hardworking people who wear our gear day-in and day-out. This jacket is made with our heavyweight cotton duck and lined with 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation for lightweight warmth.

Measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hips:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8” below the natural waist.

Runs very large
Runs really large. I'm 110 lbs and ordered XS, my usual size but it fits more like a women's medium.

I love the loose fit as it leaves me room for additional layers, and also great freedom of movement. Definitely a rugged fabric which is important to me as I do volunteer work with raptors at a nature center with very cold winters. The only tricky thing is getting the zipper started due to the stiffness of the fabric on the placket over it. I would highly recommend it as a rugged and warm work jacket!
