Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Ich liebe diese Jacke! Ist schön dicht. Hält warm und ist ordentlich atmungsaktiv, was bei mir immer n Problem war bisher. Nutze sie fürs Motorrad fahren und im Alltag.

Great Rain Jacket For Camping
This Jacket is heavy and warm. With a hard shell feeling on the outside, it is very waterproof but is a bit stiff. Once broken in the fit is great.

I have worn this jacket in heavy rain with no problem. I have a long torso and the jacket is long enough that it hangs around 2 inches below my rear pockets that keeps my butt from getting wet which is a big plus for me.

Only waterproof in light rain.
Very disappointed in the waterproof qualities of this jacket. I work outdoors, and after the first moderate rainfall the jacket soaked through. I was shocked, as the quality of the jacket construction is very good.

Sharp looking all weather parka
Happy to add this parka to my lineup. Color and material is great, features are practical. I currently have several more traditional hooded jackets and this will be more suitable for warmer days where I would normally not be able to wear my heavily insulated jackets and also provide rain repellency.

Limited Rain Resistance, Not Rainproof
I am a big fan of Carhartt and love the style and fit of our new Storm Defender jackets. However, we are extremely disappointed by the "rainproof" claim which was the reason we bought these jackets. Rain resistant would be more appropriate. After two hours of hiking in a light rain, we were soaked through our new jackets. Day 2 was much better when we put cheap rain ponchos over our jackets to achieve being truly "rainproof". VERY DISAPPOINTED

Can't Handle Heavy Rain
I picked up the light weight version of this jacket at Feet Farm before heading back to Vietnam. I don't understand how this is categorized as one of the best jackets for rain. After just the second use in rain the waterproof properties of the jacket are gone. Water no longer beads off, it literally just soaks through now. I had my phone in the inside chest pocket and it had filled with water. The style and fit of the jacket are perfect and by the construction of the product I had high hopes. I guess a plastic poncho for two bucks is the way to go. I wouldn't buy this again.
