NICE TOP without the split waistband
I ordered a size XS and it fits me perfectly. I am normally a women's small (size 4) and a size XS always in Carhartt because their sizes run large. I do not like the style of splitting the waistband at the hips, as this sweater has. I think that looks terrible and makes a girl look frumpy. So I sewed up both sides at the waist to make the waistband solid all the way around. See photos.

Perfect
I love this shirt. It is now my go-to. I bought one several weeks ago at full price, to see if i liked it. I loved it. I waited till after Christmas because i thought they might be marked down. They were and bought two more. Then, last week there was yet another markdown, so i bought two more. So comfortable, warm, but not too heavy, easy to wear. Looking forward to the last two which should be delivered this week. Always been a loyal LL Bean customer, but these are so much better - better fabric, better construction, better fit.
