Carhartt Helps Local Nursing Students
#OutworkGraduation with Scrubs Donation

Workwear brand outfits future essential workers at University of Detroit Mercy to celebrate Nurses Week

DEARBORN, MI - Over the last 12+ months, nurses all over the country have sacrificed, endured and persevered, giving everything they have to their profession and patients as the pandemic hit our country. Thatā€™s why during Nurses Week 2021, Carhartt and its licensing partner, CID Resources, a division of Superior Group of CompaniesTM (NASDAQ: SGC), are recognizing the hard work and bravery of the next generation of nurses by outfitting local Detroit graduates with scrubs to #OutworkGraduation.

To show its appreciation for incoming essential workers, Carhartt and CID are pleased to donate 336 pairs of scrubs to the graduating class of University of Detroit Mercyā€™s College of Health Professions and McAuley School of Nursing. Each graduate receives two scrub sets with the total donation valued at approximately $16,800. While this yearā€™s ceremony is virtual, graduates of Detroit Mercyā€™s College of Health Professions and McAuley School of Nursing will be able to celebrate their accomplishments with a few new sets of durable scrubs that can handle any job from day one.

In addition to the University of Detroit Mercy donation, Carhartt is offering 20% off all scrubs on Carhartt.com until May 12. Scrubs are available in a variety of styles and colors, for both men and women. They feature FastDryĀ® technology to wick away sweat, Stain BreakerĀ® technology to release stains and Rugged FlexĀ® technology to increase movement.
