Disappointing Fabric
The fit is good. The cut is great, especially for a female figure. I wear a womens size small and its bang-on. The material is soft. But - and it is a BIG BUT. The fabric attracts everything. Its like it is always statically charged. I am surprised my coworkers are not all completely bald by now, the amount of hair that this thing collects. In addition, the fabric pilled immediately. Before it was even washed, there were little balls all over friction areas - Underarms and the fleece just above the cuffs and the entrance to the pockets. After washing and drying following the laundering instructions, it collects so much fuzz and pilled even worse, to the point where if I wash it, I have to spend 30 minutes using a mechanical lint shaver, to get the pillage off, so that I'm not embarrassed as heck to be seen in the thing. And that's washing it solo! For work wear, it shouldn't be so high maintenance - and better quality fabric. I've owned 2 other Carhartt FR sweatshirts that have taken a beaten over the years, and never experienced anything like this. It will go in the trash.
