Not tough but comfy
Very comfy pants.
Not as rugged as standard duck materiel, but soft and comfy.

The canvas pant is not stiff, comfortable and move able.
Great overall fit. Kept warm while working outdoors in mid 30's temperatures. Soft flannel on the inside and durable canvas material on the outside.

My son loves them. It's been one year and they've gotten a couple holes, but that is to be expected. He's a facilities tech and needs the extra pockets and warmth when traveling. I wish they'd go on sale. 60/pair is steep.
