This men's field jacket is the ideal combination of classic Carhartt styling, durability, and versatility. Our signature 100% cotton duck fabric provides a tough exterior, while a soft sherpa lining in the body provides warmth and comfort through the winter months. Warmth Rating Earned: LEVEL 2 – WARMER
Engineered For Midrange Warmth in Moderately Cold Conditions
Gear with a rating of WARMER makes an ideal first-line of defense in cold weather. Delivering the extra warmth that comes in handy when there’s suddenly less daylight but always more to get done. That’s why our LEVEL 2 rated gear is built lighter and more flexible than more traditional heavyweight jackets, but it’s also Sherpa-lined and insulated for greater warmth and comfort.
My husband loves it! It's very warm and durable for his outside work!

Sizing concerns
Jacket sizing runs very large. The original order was Large Tall for a 6'3", 185 lb. male. Sleeve length on the Tall was perfect but the body was sized for 250 lbs. Item was returned & replaced with Medium. Sleeves were too short & shoulders snug, but the fit was far better than the Large. Carhartt should consider sizing for very tall younger persons with thin build. Medium Tall perhaps?

Go to winter work jacket
This is my go to winter jacket. Breaks the wind and warm to below zero temps. Love the cuffs for keeping cold and snow out. Looks good for wearing around town too.
