Carhartt has made an overall great insulated vest. It has plenty of pockets. It is thin and can be worn under anything. My only gripe is that it's a little short. I am 6'3" and it barely covers my belt. Not a problem, as I wear it under blazers, and it looks fine. But one more inch of torso coverage would have been perfect. It has more pockets than most other vests in its class (think Patagonia or Eddie Bauer). That's a big plus.

Great all around vest.
I bought this vest for my husband, he loves it. It fit perfectly, always wears large, large fit as he'd hoped. Color just great, looks exactly like the picture, moss. Think he'll want another one soon.

Great vest
Gift for my son and it is by far his favorite. He had one in the past and unfortunately misplaced on a trip so wanted it replaced! So glad you still are making it. He thinks the pockets are slightly different, but not enough to make a difference. His go to article of clothing!! He would definitely recommend!
