First of all before I start my the grumpy chapter of this review, these Relaxed Fit Rugged Flex Canvas Work Pants are hands down the best all around pair of pants I've ever owned. I have the stack I beat the crap out of, and another stack that that gets a little love from the iron so they look nice and fresh for dress casual needs. It's the perfect all purpose pair of pants.
?..BUT?..here comes the grumpy part.
I'm genuinely saying this with love from a huge group of us that show our Carhartt tags with tremendous pride (so you folks should feel guilty that you haven't given us this most important option). It's the modern age of mobile technology and a vast number of us seriously loyal for many decades customers (and definitely most all in my personal universe of peoples) have longed for the one garment option related to this specific pant design that would have all us with a tear of joy on each cheek and would further cement the genuine endearment we all show with our committed allegiance buying closets full of head to toe apparel emblazoned with Carhartt logos everywhere, but we confusingly still do not have this most sought after option. So, what exactly is that one profoundly important thing that has me waxing extra poetic in a review comment box of a pair of these excellent pants you ask??? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE A CLOSE TO THIS EXACT SHARP LOOKING DESIGN IN YOUR LIGHTWEIGHT FLEX DENIM MATERIAL SO WE CAN FINALLY HAVE A PAIR OF CARHARTT JEANS THAT HAVE A CORRECTLY SIZED PHONE POCKET ON THE RIGHT LEG AND NOT HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CUT OFF THE LOOP ON THE HEAVYWEIGHT WORK PANTS THAT I DON'T NEED OR WANT IN A PAIR OF JEANS I WEAR TO MEETINGS AND OTHER EVENTS WHEN JEANS ARE PERFECTLY FINE AND ACCEPTABLE FOR DRESS CASUAL OCCASIONS!!!
Seriously folks, Carhartt doesn't have a pair of lightweight jeans with a nice secure phone pocket on today's world? Really?? The specific design of this Relaxed Fit Rugged Flex Canvas Pant is EXACTLY the design it should be. Simple, clean, and styled for any casual to dress casual occasion. PLEASE GET ON IT!!
And lastly, thanks for making basically the majority of the clothes I've been wearing for probably 40 years. That says a lot for sure!!
