When you need that extra bit..
Man, this makes a world of difference when combined with a Level 3 or higher jacket. We had some pretty cold winter days recently and bought this to use under my work jacket and it kept me plenty warm. The jacket usually does well on its own but I needed that slight edge to beat the cold and this did the trick. Super comfortable, easy to clean. I have nothing negative to say about this one and I got it on sale at the time. Definitely worth the money!

The vest I received was light grey and looked like straight hood insulation in some vehicles. I probably have 35 pieces of carhartt and the sizing is always wacky but this vest is hugeee! Not like my 3 other carhartt vest.

Love this vest
Love this vest, I dont like the restrictions of jackets sometimes because of the sleeves, this vest fixed that, very warm and love the freedom!
