That’s why our LEVEL 2 rated gear is built lighter and more flexible than more traditional heavyweight jackets, but it’s also Sherpa-lined and insulated for greater warmth and comfort.

How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

measure men's coat

Chest:

Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

I'm 6'3 and 275. Bought a 2xl Tall. Is a little big but haven't washed/dryed it yet. Sleeves are a little long and like most people have said. Storm cuffs are a loose, I have a bartlet jacket for years and those cuffs are perfect. Oil and grease seem to wipe right off.

Great Jacket
Love the jacket. Material is much softer than the traditional Carhartt jackets. Feels broken in the second you put it on. It's also warmer than I expected. One drawback is that I'm worried about the durability of the zipper. It's snagging a little bit already and is not the traditional hearty metal zipper I am used to from Carhartt.

Great jacket, but sleeves run long
This jacket looks great and is very comfortable. It's much warmer than it looks and effectively blocks wind and light rain. I would give it 5 stars, but the sleeves are extremely long proportional to the rest of the jacket. I'm 6 foot and 200lbs and even with a size M the sleeves are able to cover half my hand if they slide down. It would be nice if either the sleeves were shortened or the cuffs could be tightened to prevent them from moving over the hands. Otherwise, this jacket is perfect.
