While these shirts may be advertised as "Sun Defenders" they are great shirts to wear in any condition. I like to wear them as an active layer under a short sleeve shirt. The fabric isn't as heavy as the classic Carhartt shirts and helps me stay warm and move freely on the job site. Give one a try, you won't be disappointed. I normally wear a medium in the Carhartt classic loose fit but size up to a large in these shirts as well as any of the force products. I'm 5'10 185 lbs - Hope that helps.

Hooded would be better.
The camo pattern should have been made on the hooded style of this shirt, like the 106165, as well. The added concealment would have been a huge plus. Otherwise this shirt is great like all the rest of the sun defenders lightweight enough to breath on warm days, but still thick enough to not fall apart the minute you try to do anything in it. Also, you only need sunscreen for your face.
