Great jacket - durability seems are par
Overall, this is a great jacket. I have no complaints; it utilizes Thinsulate from 3-M, which is fine, but as an older person who remembers cotton fillers and cotton liners, I miss those because of the feeling of the cotton. The jacket does a great job at keeping you warm in the Northern Climates but breathes well enough to be warm on 60-degree days. I have worn the jacket on days in the teens, and it also did fine. I have not had a chance on the sub-zero days yet, so I cannot speak about that level on this jacket. The fit is comfortable, and the pockets meet my needs. Overall, it is priced correctly, if not a bit on the high side. In comparison to other jackets in this category, I would say Carhart has not overpriced this product. The zipper is stiff, but over time this will correct itself; durability seems really good on this jacket; this is more of a working jacket as it is not designed for casual dining/activity scenes, but I could see someone utilizing it in such a manner but would find it is a bit heavy for that activity. It has good looks but is also built well.

Very Nice Jacket
Love the way it looks and feels. Great Warm enough for most days. On very cold days, it's fine with a sweatshirt underneath. Zipper is a little hard to navigate. I think it will be easier once the jacket isn't "so new". Would have liked one outside chest pocket, but knew that before purchasing.
