Comfortable, well-fitting, and warm!
I needed good fleece lined pants for walking the dog and generally being outside in the winter. These are warm and comfortable, and I love the color. Maybe this is true for everything at Carhartt but I had to go up to sizes. With that said, the right size is very well-fitting.

New favorite winter work pants
Ordered my first pair of Carhartt fleece lined work pants Friday morning (along with my 2nd active jac) and they were on my porch Saturday before I even got home from work. Now it's Monday morning, I'm wearing them and just ordered 2 more pairs! I am 35 and about 5'3" 140lbs and went with a size 6 reg for the first pair. I sized down to a 4r for the 2nd order just bc I like my pants on the tighter side. As advertised they are a "relaxed fit" which means there will be some extra room in your normal size when compared to hip hugger/ skinny jeans. Even tho these pants feel very warm, I'm sure there will be a day I want to layer up and the size 6 will be perfect. I live / work in the Detroit area and most of my days are spent outside. This morning temps are in the high teens (real feel is 6F) and I am surprisingly comfortable in just these pants, a couple thermal shirts, hoodie and my new Sherpa lined Carhartt jacket. I'll probably need to actually loose an upper layer in a bit when temps reach high of 20F today. Overall I'm very impressed with my purchases and can honestly say Carhartt is still living up to it's name. Shamefully I'll admit the last couple years I was way too loyal to another brand of workwear "made for women by women" and got in the habit of returning a pair of pants 3-4 times just to find a close enough size I could wear. These Carhartts are warmer and softer yet feel stronger than the other brand of thermal pants. Even the relaxed fit 6 fits and looks so much better and they are literally half the price! One more thing I really like is the 2nd layer of canvas on lower half of back pockets and I can actually get my hammer handle thru the tool loop with one hand instead of holding it open with one while sliding it in with the other! Keep making these pants and I'll keep buying em! Only suggestion is more color options like Carhartt brown/ black would be nice.
