Too stiff, too much Velcro. Inside pocket opening too small.
This is a very nice coat however the inside left side pocket opening is way too small, I can barely get my hand in it and your use of Velcro everywhere is a real pain in the ass. I know you don't have to use the stiff as a board canvas because I have a really old version of this coat that's still going strong that was made with the softer canvas. That has held up to everything I've thrown at it and it's just getting a little too tight which is why I bought this one . If I could have found this in the softer canvas I'd never have bought this one. The stiffness is why I don't usually buy carhart stuff. I am quite capable of standing up on my own I don't need my coat to hold me up. COMFORT COUNTS AND THIS ISNT ALL THAT COMFORTABLE.

Great jacket!
A birthday gift for my builder who needed something that would keep him warm as he works outside. He loved the jacket and the loser fit. He has been a loyal Carhartt fan for years. Jacket was a good addition to his closet.

Excellent work gear
Both husband and son absolutely love their coats. They are just new, traditional replacements from decades of wearing Carhartt jackets, coats and other work clothing.
